ABS Benefits Reporting Package 3.x UPDATE

INSTALLATION INFORMATION:

Welcome to the ABS Benefits Reporting Package v. 3.X.  In this revision, we have added the following enhancements:

  • Report drill-down from both the Financial Summary and the Weather Report
  • Delivery of ad-hoc reports via BRPWebPortal (Located under Reports menu -> Web Portal -> Client Reporting).
  • IBNP report now represents Dollars paid, Days lag and Claims count.
  • Rx Utilization available for clients utilizing ESI.
  • Corrected various software bugs.

If you are using Norton Antivirus v. 7+, you may receive a Malicious Script Execution message after the welcome screen of the installation wizard.  This script, the first of three, is the mechanism for transferring prior preferences from the old version of the Benefits Reporting Package into the new version.  If you would like automatic preference transfer, you must authorize these scripts to execute.  If you choose not to authorize execution of these scripts, you will need to re-enter your preferences upon installation completion (including all user names and passwords).

Click the following links if you would like to view the scripts in question.  They are presented in a text format and will not harm your computer.

Read Existing Settings (Runs after the Welcome Screen)
Record Prior Settings (Runs at the end of the installation)
Remove Prior Shortcuts (Runs at the beginning of the file transfer to help the Start Menu remain clean)
